Dear Fellow DWIT Alumni,
It is an honor to serve as President of DWIT Alumni for the next year.
The major mission of Deerwalk Alumni Society for the next year will be to create an alumni community that stays strong, connected and supports each other. We will also work in preparing the kind of community that will help the current DWIT students who will later follow as future DWIT graduates.
We have four graduating batches so far and all of us are striving in various fields, pursuing our dreams. Some of us are continuing our education abroad and some are relentlessly working to build a business of their own. Some of us are even working professionally in various parts of the world. That’s the strength of our community: our diversity! We share with ourselves a great community which will provide a wide range of networking and counseling opportunities to us and the upcoming alumni members.
We’ve thought of various kinds of events, such as, talk programs, regular hikes for the alumni, periodic meetups, giving back to the society, etc. We will organize such events regularly for the upcoming year. Seeing the overwhelming responses of fellow alumni in our past events, we are excited about the things that we can achieve together.
